The National Cancer Center Singapore (NCCS) is a world leader for compassionate and innovative cancer treatment. Since opening in 1999, the facility, which treats nearly 75% of all cancer patients in Singapore and another 10% regionally, anticipates a three-fold increase in patient volume by 2030. TK&A is working with project partners CIAP and Kahler Slater to design a new NCCS that will feature medical, surgical, and radiation oncology services, including a four gantry proton beam therapy center and 17 linear accelerators. A translational medicine research laboratory will be integrated with clinics (by disease site) in a multidisciplinary approach.
