Healthcare Architects

Responsibilities

  • Healthcare planning/programming
  • Knowledge of equipment layouts and requirements
  • Experience with DPH requirements
  • Makes independent decisions on architectural problems and methods from sound knowledge base
  • Coordinates consultants’ services
  • Coordinates with client
  • Responsible for all project documents including plans, sections, details, etc. as part of a complete construction document package/set
  • Generates schedule for time anticipated to complete projects tasks
  • Assembles resource data including existing conditions drawings, code analysis, etc.
  • Understands the constructability of design in context with building systems, codes, materials, etc.
  • Prepares inspiring presentations and comprehensive construction documents
  • Reviews submittals/construction work for compliance with construction documents
  • Develops and fosters relationships in broader design community and pursues business development opportunities

Qualifications

  • 7-10+ years of experience in healthcare
  • Registered Architect or actively pursuing registration and LEED AP
  • Advanced BIM skills, including Revit, are required
  • Ability to render and work with programs such as Sketch-Up and Rhino are a plus
  • Acts independently and decisively from a sound background in architectural principles
  • Demonstrates understanding of project process and implementation
  • Fully competent in all conventional aspects of architectural processes
  • Demonstrates ability to work autonomously, as well as to be a team player

Senior Interior Designer

Responsibilities

  • Generates project documents including plans, sections, details, etc. in coordination of a complete construction document package
  • Coordinates project manual
  • Makes independent decisions on design problems and methods from a sound knowledge base
  • Applies sound and diversified knowledge of design principles and practices
  • Coordinates and manage consultants
  • Coordinates with client on projects, continued client contact and maintenance
  • Mentors junior staff
  • Generates schedule for time budgeted to complete project tasks
  • Reviews submittals/construct site
  • Generates portions of proposals including fee estimates
  • Understands MEP systems
  • Generates furniture packages including specifications
  • Maintains relationships in broader design community and pursues business development opportunities

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of experience
  • Graduate of FIDER accredited design program
  • Acts independently and decisively from sound background in design principles
  • Demonstrates understanding of project process and implementation
  • Strong understanding on architectural language and concepts
  • Advanced BIM skills, including Revit
  • Demonstrates ability to work successfully on a team and bring clarity to design discussions
  • Fully competent in all conventional aspects of design process
  • Demonstrates strong design and detailing skills
  • Demonstrates understanding of project management
  • Demonstrates good communication skills
